So if anyone has any links or info please post here. So I'm trying to find ways and means to disable the hill assist alltogether. When I test drove the car a month back I checked all the discs and pads and none of them should've been due for at least a year or 10,000 km And now this! I'm very upset. The service interval has dropped to zero on the brakes and that's quite alarming. This morning I drive out and see the red inspection light coming on as well as the red brake light. Once again being told "it's an E90 thing" I wrote it off. I've also noticed this car has a constant brake squeal whenever I drive off from a standstill and it stays there until after 3rd gear. Even engaging 1st and pulling away when I went to neutral the car came to a stop (still on the downhill) Being annoyed I carried on and tried to forget about it. I released the brake and noticed the car is still being braked and couldn't roll forward. Not thinking the assist will work on a downhill. Upon meeting up with other fanatics, I was parked on a slight slope facing downhill. I've had my E90 for nearly a month now and unfortunately noticed it has hill assist like the E86.Īssuming the system will work correctly I was greeted by something rather annoying one night.
